Custom Tools
Software that works where the work happens.
Your best data is created in the field — and lost there, on paper forms and in memory, until someone re-keys it days later. We build the mobile tools that let crews, technicians and inspectors capture it once, at the point of work, even with no signal.
Overview
Frontline software lives or dies on two things: whether it works without a signal, and whether a busy person can use it with one hand. We design for both. Capture is fast and forgiving, the app tolerates dead zones and syncs when it can, and the data lands clean in the systems back at base.
We’ve built for oilfields, mines, plants and depots — environments where the phone is dusty, the gloves are on and the stakes are real. That’s the bar we build every frontline tool to, whatever the industry.
Sound familiar?
You probably need this if…
If one of these is true, a custom tool usually pays for itself faster than the workarounds you’re living with.
- Field data arrives on paper and is re-typed days later
- Apps you’ve tried stop working the moment the signal drops
- Nobody can see, live, what crews are finding out there
- Photos and readings live on phones, not in your systems
What we build
Tools for field & frontline.
Mobile field-service apps
Jobs, routes, assets and history in a technician’s pocket — assign work, guide it, and capture what happened without a trip back to the office.
Digital inspections & checklists
Replace paper forms with structured, photo-backed captures that can’t be half-completed and land instantly where they’re needed.
Offline-first data capture
Everything keeps working with no connection and syncs cleanly when one returns — no lost readings, no “I’ll enter it later”.
Asset & maintenance logging
Scan an asset, see its history, log the work — building the record that powers planning and predictive maintenance later.
Incident & observation reporting
A ten-second way to raise a hazard, defect or observation from the field, routed to the right person with a clear trail.
How we work
Built with you, owned by you.
Understand
We sit with the people who’ll use the tool, map the real workflow, and agree what success looks like in numbers.
Prove
A thin, working slice early — so you steer with something real in front of you, not a specification.
Build in the open
Short increments, automated tests and regular demos. Progress is visible, not reported.
Ship & own
We release carefully and hand over clean code you own — then run or extend it only if you want us to.
- Zero
- Lost captures — offline-tolerant by design
- Once
- Data entered once, at the point of work
- Days → mins
- Field-to-office lag on what crews find
Representative of typical custom-tool engagements.

FAQ
Questions we hear a lot.
Does it really work with no internet?
Yes. Offline-first isn’t a bolt-on — we design the data model and sync for it from the start, so the app is fully usable in dead zones and reconciles cleanly when it reconnects. It’s a discipline we honed on remote industrial sites.
Native or cross-platform?
Whichever serves the job. For most field tools a well-built cross-platform app gives the widest device coverage for the cost; where the work demands deep device or hardware access, we go native. We recommend based on your reality, not our preference.
Can it feed our existing systems?
Yes — captures flow into your ERP, EAM, maintenance or operations systems through clean integrations, so the field becomes a trusted source rather than a separate silo.
Have a tool in mind?
Tell us the workaround that’s costing you — the spreadsheet, the inbox, the app that doesn’t fit. We’ll tell you how we’d replace it, and whether it’s worth doing yet.
